Philip Ting was in public practice for 17 years beginning with Touche Ross & Co in Australia
in 1973 and ending as a Partner of Arthur Anderson & Co / Hanafiah Raslan & Mohamad in Malaysia. From 1991 to 1994, he was Chief Executive Officer of Sarawak Securities Sdn Bhd,
a major stock-broking company in Malaysia and from 1994 to 1998, he was Group Managing Director of Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad, a diversified conglomerate in Malaysia. During his working career, he spent a significant amount of time in Australia, the United States of America and in countries throughout South East Asia.
Datuk (Dr) Philip Ting presently sits on the Board of Ibraco Berhad and a number of private companies with business interests throughout Australasia.
Datuk (Dr) Philip Ting holds a Bachelor of Business degree majoring
in Accounting, as well as a Doctorate of the University (Honoris Causa) from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified
Public Accountants and Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
Other than the 2,278,000 shares held by Datuk (Dr) Philip Ting in the company, he does not have any other interest with the Company. He does not have any family relationship with any director and/or major shareholder or conflict of interest with the Company. Datuk (Dr) Philip Ting has not been convicted of any offence within the past 10 years.
