History

Over the years, Encorp has achieved numerous milestones, most well-known is the successful completion of 10,000 units of teachers' quarters for the Ministry of Education at 109 sites in 9 different states of Malaysia. The project was also significant to the Nation as it was the single largest Government privatised project developed using the Industrialised Building System called Precast Building Technology. The entire project was completed in 2004.

Today, Encorp has evolved to focus on two areas: Construction Management & Property Development.

Main achievements in Construction Management:

  • Development of 10,000 units of teachers' housing for the Government of Malaysia. The project was a privatisation project by the Government in which Encorp would receive a monthly concession payment of RM11.3mil until 2028.
  • Completing the teachers' housing project - 10,000 units in 109 sites across 9 states including Sabah & Sarawak.
  • Built reputation for project delivery and for quality construction.
  • In using Industrialised Building Systems (IBS) technology - used in the teachers' housing project.

Main achievements in Property Developments:

  • Building affordable properties with excellent design, superior workmanship & finishing, and complete with amenities within a well-planned environment (Encorp's corporate mission - enriching the quality of life of stakeholders).
  • Main projects - Cahaya Alam residential development & The Strand, Damansara commercial development. Both currently on-going.

It is currently undertaking 3 prestigious property developments:

  • Cahaya Alam, a mixed development in Shah Alam, comprising link and semi-detached houses, shop offices and apartments. The development's concept is based on the promotion of an active lifestyle for its residents.
  • The Strand, Damansara - an integrated commercial development. This is Encorp's flagship property development. Since its launch in 2006, The Strand, Damansara has generated encouraging demand. The overall development will consist of shop offices, business suites, a condo-tel, shopping mall and office towers.
  • A luxury residential development at U10 in Shah Alam.
