Encorp Berhad ("Encorp") was incorporated on 2 March 2000 as a private limited company under the name of Pioneer Design Sdn Bhd. Its' status was changed to a public company on 8 August 2000. The name was subsequently changed to Encorp Berhad on 13 November 2001.

Encorp was listed on the Main Board of KLSE on 11 February 2003 upon completion of the reverse take-over of Great Wall Plastics Industries Berhad ("GWPI"). In line with Encorp's objective of focusing on its businesses of property development and construction management, GWPI was disposed following an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) that was held on 29 December 2006.

Encorp today has become a Malaysian conglomerate that is building a reputation for excellence and promoting quality of life in the areas of construction management and property development.
