Encorp’s Construction Management business segment is undertaken by Encorp Construct Sdn Bhd and Encorp Systembuilt Sdn Bhd.
Encorp's construction business segment is undertaken by its wholly owned subsidiary Encorp Construct Sdn Bhd. It’s registered as a Bumiputra Class A Contractor and is an experienced company specialising in mass housing and infrastructure works. Being in property development and construction management Encorp has to date successfully proven its strength with its triumphant record of completing the National Teacher`s Quarters Project at 109 sites in 9 different states throughout Malaysia way back in 2004.
National Teachers Housing Project
Encorp was awarded a RM1.5 billion contract and has successfully delivered the largest privatisation project for Government housing using Pre-cast Building Technology. There is also a 30-year concession to design, build, finance and transfer the development of 10,000 units of teachers` housing for the Ministry of Education. The National Teachers project was fully completed and handed over to the Ministry on June 20th, 2004. The company has shown its ability to commence construction on multiple locations and to complete the project on time within budget and to quality specifications.

Encorp Berhad is the company that introduced Pre-cast Building Technology in the implementation of their projects. Despite the Asian economic crisis of 1997-99 the company was able to secure RM1.3 billion of structured funding to finance the project. It has awarded RM1 billion worth of contracts to a large pool of local professionals and contractors and in the course of construction work used locally sourced materials. They also provide training to new local entrepreneurs on the use of their Pre-cast Building Technology.
The Strand, Damansara
The other ongoing projects are the 104 units located at The Strand, Damansara. This property is located on 45.6 acres of prime land fronting the NKVE and the Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP) highways. This is a mixed development featuring condominiums, commercial shop-lots and podiums. The effort and time spent on developing a winning concept of The Strand has benefited Encorp the public confidence in their products.
Cahaya Alam
Another ongoing project is the Cahaya Alam homes in Encorp`s 209 acre township at U12 of Shah Alam, Selangor. Construction commenced in April 2008 and completion is expected by July 2009. This project is a precinct development designed for practical, functional and modern homes with amenities to promote an active and healthy lifestyle.
Sarawak Schools Project
There is also the ongoing Sarawak Schools Project awarded by the Ministry of Education for the construction and upgrading of 11 schools in Kuching, Sri Aman and Bintulu with a total value of RM150 million. Construction commenced in 2008 and completion is expected by 2010.
Electrified Double Track Rail Project
Encorp has bagged a RM130.8 million Electrified Double Track Rail Project (Seremban – Gemas) contract. It was awarded by IRCON International Limited of India on 25th December 2008 for the construction, commissioning of station buildings and associated structures and services of the stations. Completion is expected by 2010.
Encorp Berhad was awarded ISO 9001:2000 quality management certification for project management on construction and development of residential, industrial and commercial buildings for its property division and two related subsidiaries.
The management systems of Encorp Berhad (Property Division), and the two subsidiaries have been certified as meeting ISO 9001 standards in accordance with UKAS Quality Management and Akreditasi Malaysia ISO/IEC Guide 62:1996. This award certification is an important milestone for Encorp as it continues to build a track record in project management, construction and property development.
